Bionic Modeling

Studies of insect, bird and fish movement requires sufficiently realistic modeling

of bionic surfaces. PreCAD analytical functions, tailored for aircraft design applications,

are modified and extended to 4D unsteady applications to accommodate what we

can learn from nature.

Bird wings invite exploring the aerodynamics of tip feather models based on

multi-component wings

Butterfly geometry and flapping movement needs to be parameterized by a modified wing generator.
